Gateway Arch

I took this photo a couple of years ago on a family vacation. Architecture and sculpture fascinate me, so I had to take a few photos of the Gateway Arch. The sun happened to be out that day, so the shadows were fairly visible. They are most noticeable on the underside of the arch right where the two sides come to a point. There wasn't much texture that could be seen, as the structure is made of large sheets of steel. However, from a distance the individual panels are becoming more visible because of how they are tarnishing. It looks like a giant patchwork.
