Mirror Wall

The scenic design for Of Mice and Men contains a mylar "mirrored" surface on the back wall of the performance space. Because of how the material is attached, the effect is much like that of the water wall in my previous entry. The main purpose for this wall is to catch some sort of reflection. It isn't meant to reproduce a perfect image.

When light hits the material it is reflected to the stage surface. The result looks very much like the image you see when light passes through water. In my opinion it looks like the bottom of a swimming pool.
