The vast majority of the days I spent in Paris there was cloud cover. Because of the time of year the days were also shorter. The patchy and cloudy skies provided for some interesting lighting conditions. This memorial on the Seine was no exception. The gold gilding picked up the little light that was piercing through the clouds. Much of the surrounding area consisted of dull earth tones and the gold popped against them.

Paris: Dark and Dreary
The vast majority of the days I spent in Paris there was cloud cover. Because of the time of year the days were also shorter. No. I was only there for a few weeks, for a theatre course. Now that I've been back home for a while I wish I could go back. And it did rain a lot when I was there.
